On a clear evening looking out over the Bristol Channel, you can often see the hot fire of the blast furnaces, breathing their fire in the steelworks glowing on the edge of the distant Welsh coast…

Homage to a great pinter of still life. I replaced his vegetables and fruit with the most delicate of objects, A group of fragile soap bubbles! incased in a stone block and framed in a black frame.

When the waves hit the concrete steps below the wall an explosion of water cascades along the steps, like a trail of sparkling gun powder with incredible force!
